His Birth - Bethlehem

Lesson Aim: The student will learn as the shepherds did, that God provided
a Savior for all of us when Jesus was born in Bethlehem.

Bible Story: The Birth of Jesus, Luke 2:1-20.

Memory Verse: Luke 2:11, “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord."

Life Application: Help the student understand that Jesus was born long ago to be the Savior of all,
and He is the Savior of all who believe and trust in Him.

His Life - Nazareth

Lesson Aim: The student will learn that Jesus obeyed God and
His parents and the student should obey God and his or her parents.

Bible Story: The Early Life of Jesus, Luke 2:39-52.

Memory Verse: Ephesians 6:1, “Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right."

Life Application: Help the student understand that Jesus grew up and always
obeyed God and His parents, and the student should do likewise.

His Followers - Sea of Galilee

Lesson Aim: The student will learn how important it is to live for Christ after salvation.

Bible Story: The First Followers of Jesus, Matthew 4:18-22.

Memory Verse: Matthew 4:19, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men."

Life Application: Help the student realize that after salvation he or she should be baptized
and serve Christ in a true church while he or she seeks to lead others to Christ.
If he wears the name “Christian” he should practice the teachings of Christ.

His Power - Capernaum

Lesson Aim: The student will learn that Jesus has all power.

Bible Story: The Power of Jesus, Luke 8:41, 42, 49-56.

Memory Verse: Luke 8:50, “But when Jesus heard it, he answered him saying,
Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole."

Life Application: Help the student realize that Jesus has the power of God and hears prayers today.

His Sacrifice - Calvary

Lesson Aim: The student will learn that Jesus died for our sins, was resurrected and lives in Heaven today.

Bible Story: The Death and Resurrection of Jesus, Luke 23:33—24:6.

Memory Verse: Luke 24:6, “He is not here, but is risen."

Life Application: Help the student realize that Christ died on the cross to pay the penalty
for our sin and that we must believe in Him to be saved.
