Welcome to Bible Challenge

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it,” Proverbs 22:6. Scripture teaches that parents are to train their children in the ways of the Lord. One way that your church can support that this happens in the home is through Bogard Press’ Bible Challenge program.

Bible Challenge Bible study curriculum is a Wednesday night or Sunday night program for your church for children and teens (age 2 through 12th grade) that focuses on Scripture memorization, Bible usage drills, memorizing the answers to key questions about our faith and memorizing basic Bible doctrine. Different age-groups focus on memorizing different elements based on the learning abilities of that age-group.

What sets Bible Challenge apart from other Bogard Press curriculums is the way that it helps teachers and students to connect.

Connect Students to Scripture

The psalmist says it best, “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee,” Psalm 119:11. Scripture tells us the value of Scripture memorization. When we have God’s Word with us always, it helps us to stay connected to the Lord as we walk through our daily lives.

Bible Challenge Bible study curriculum helps students not only to hide God’s Word in their hearts but also helps them to understand God’s Word and apply it to their daily lives while teaching essential Bible usage skills. Each week students use their Bibles to find Scripture, learn their books of the Bible and many more skills that will be with them for years to come as they continue their walks with Jesus.

Connect Churches Through Association

Bible Challenge Bible study curriculum provides opportunities for churches to connect. After a church has its own challenge, students can move on to regional, state and national challenges. Students can build relationships with students from other churches.

Connect Churches to the Home

Kids Bible Study Curriculum by Bogard Press

Bible Challenge takes a huge investment of time at home. Students have to work during their Bible Challenge class time as well as at home in order to memorize all of the information on their Bible Challenge Cards and be prepared for their Bible Challenges.

This means that Bible Challenge helps to connect churches to the home. Bible Challenge helps churches to equip families to do study in the home by providing them with a springboard for biblical discussions and further family Bible study.

What Is This Blog All About?

With our Bible Challenge blog, we want to equip Bible Challenge leaders to get the most out of Bible Challenge while they help children and teens connect Scripture with their hearts and lives.

We want to serve your church by helping you connect what happens during Bible Challenge to what happens in the homes of your church’s families. Bible Challenge requires a lot of “homework” on the part of your students and is a great way to get God’s Word into the homes of the children in your church.

We want to inform and update churches who use Bible Challenge Bible study curriculum about local, regional and national competitions as well as how to conduct their churches' drills. Challenges are an essential part of Bible Challenge. We want to make sure that our Bible Challenge leaders have all of the resources they need and more about how to conduct their Bible Challenges.
