BSSC CEO’s January 1, 2026 PR Report:
I am writing this article on January 1, 2026, in early morning, and I am amazed at the grace of God which has allowed and sustained me to live and serve Him to such a future date. The goodness of God has truly followed me and sustained me through my life, and I rejoice and praise Him. The people of God also have been very gracious to me. King David once wrote that his cup runs over and I can certainly relate to being blessed in such an overflowing manner. As I move forward in the new year, I am excited to experience what God has for me and for the people of God. Along with God’s goodness, I covet your prayers, love, and friendship as we move through this new year together.
God has blessed Bogard Press operations in recent months to guide us through what has been for us a difficult process. In June of last year, we began having serious problems with our big press. The cost of repairing it and maintaining it became difficult, and to purchase a new offset press was too expensive, so we made the decision to move away from the offset printing to digital printing. Digital printing is easier, cleaner, takes less room for equipment, and produces better quality printing, but it can be more costly for large volume printing. At this time, we have made the conversion, and all is well. Our printing processes are on time and our cost is manageable. We also have found ways to lessen the cost by the way we print, so that the conversion looks good for the future.
Many are aware that I have been living in Magnolia, Arkansas and driving to Texarkana to work each day for the past three years, which is an approximate one hour and five minutes commute. God has moved upon my heart that my involvement in this ministry should continue, and I should be more locally available to the ministry for practical reasons. Therefore, I have secured a home in Texarkana and will be moving sometime in February. God has blessed me the last seven years to attend and serve in Calvary Baptist Church in Magnolia where Bro. Micah Carter is Pastor. This wonderful and loving church has been a God-sent blessing to my wife and me. God has been doing great things at Calvary and He will continue to bless and use this great church to His glory. We will always be thankful for our time at Calvary.
In summary, the Lord continues to guide us and bless us, and all is well. Come visit anytime in Texarkana.
