BE YE THANKFUL!
Colossians 3:15 tells us, “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are
called in one body; and be ye thankful.” As believers, we have many things for which we can be
thankful. Life and breath, family and friends, churches and Bible study groups are blessings from
the Lord. However, the greatest gift that God has given man is the free pardon of sin through the
sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. This gives every child of God a reason to “be ye thankful!”
SUNDAY SCHOOL
As we approach another quarter of study in God’s Word, the adults and teens will be studying
the first ten chapters of the gospel of Luke. This study will explore Luke’s account of the
humanity of Christ. The series aim is “The student will grow in knowledge and obedience to
Christ.” Beginning at His birth and reaching the midpoint of His ministry, the life of Christ and His
teachings will be examined.
For children, the lessons for Bible Basics will explore worship, prayer and stewardship, while the
lessons for Splat will teach the value of the gospel and the need to share Jesus with others. Both
programs are designed to assist your church as you instruct your children. We pray that it is a
blessing to your ministry.
BAPTIST DISCIPLESHIP SERIES
Beginning in December, the new Baptist Discipleship Series for adults and teens is titled, “Tools
of the Trade.” This study will help readers identify the necessary tools a child of God needs to be
successful as a Christian. The goal of this study is to better equip the people of God in their
service to Him. These studies are great for classes outside of the regular Sunday School program
