This booklet gives you some prehistory and history of the American Baptist Association.  Bible references are given to show the ABAs scriptural background. Equal representation is given to each church of the ABA. Each church selects its own messengers, and no church is given special privileges. The association supports missionaries that one church might not be able to support.  Publications produced today provide literature for all ages. A twenty-two-point doctrinal statement unites churches as to faith and order. The booklet goes into some schools and missions with descriptions. The American Baptist Association identity is based on the Bible and separates it from many others.
