What a blessing it is the serve our God! I was humbled and overwhelmed when the messengers voted for me to serve as the Editor-in-Chief for Bogard Press. While I was content with where I was, I am grateful that the Lord has seen fit to move me into a new area of ministry.
As of this writing, I have visited the office and met most of the staff. The churches of the American Baptist Association are so blessed to have a wonderful staff of dedicated employees. They have great fellowship among themselves and a great heart for the Lord’s work. From the longest serving to the most recent hire, everyone is dedicated to the work of Bogard Press.
My official start date will be July 7, 2025, and I am excited to join the team. There is much for me to learn, and, without the Lord’s help, it would be very overwhelming. The Lord has been so good to assist in this transition.
My family and I will continue to live and serve in Bossier City, Louisiana. I will commute to Texarkana for work each day. Stockwell Road MBC has allowed me to continue to serve as their pastor and is willing to facilitate my divided duties. They have been a wonderful group of people to pastor, and my heart is full because of their generosity and understanding.
I would be remiss if I did not thank Bro. Mark Clements for his service. He has made the transition smooth and has provided invaluable information about the position and its duties. Bogard Press is better in so many ways because of his faithfulness. Please pray for him and his family as they move to another field of labor.
