2027 VBS Themes: a KJV, Baptist Option

Most of the big publishers have announced their 2027 Vacation Bible School themes. If your church wants a VBS written by Baptists, taught entirely from the King James Version, PROCLAIMERS from Bogard Press is built for you.

2027 VBS themes at a glance

Theme names as announced by each publisher, October 2026. Other publishers’ names and themes belong to their owners.

What makes PROCLAIMERS different

• King James Version only. Every lesson, memory verse and student page uses the KJV.
• Written by Baptists. Bogard Press has served Baptist churches for more than 100 years, and our writers hold to the ABA doctrinal statement.
• Every age in one theme. Lessons run from preschool through adult, so the whole church can take part.
• The gospel at the center. Each day’s skit teaches that the gospel of Jesus Christ alone can save the world.

Five missions, five days

At the Proclaimers’ Academy, kids train to become the heroes the world needs. They won’t need superpowers, just the courage to proclaim God’s Word. The theme verse is Acts 1:8: “Ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
