About Bible Challenge

A foundation for a lifetime in God’s Word

Bible Challenge (for students in 1st–12th grade) and Bible Challenge Jr. (for students ages 3 to 5), by Bogard Press, are Bible-based programs designed to teach students the importance of studying and learning God’s Word and hiding it in their hearts.

The programs focus on books of the Bible, Bible verses, Bible passages, verse search, Bible questions, Bible truth, doctrinal truths, steps to salvation, Bible fill in the blanks and Bible words. Whether they are memorizing a verse or answering a Bible question, this Bible study curriculum teaches students what they have learned and how to apply it to their lives.

We believe that through Bible Challenge, students will obtain a foundation to build upon as they continue to grow and study God’s Word as adults.

How the year works

Taught with the school year

Classes run September through March. Students may start any time, as long as they are prepared for the challenges beginning in April.

  1. Sept – MarchClassroomWeekly lessons, challenge-card review and games.
  2. AprilChurch challengeStudents compete in a church challenge; Bible Challenge Jr. holds its awards ceremony.
  3. MayRegional challengeCompete with other churches who have learned God’s Word.
  4. Late May – early JuneState challengeStudents advance to compete at the state level.
  5. JuneNational challengeThe Bible Challenge year closes at the national level.
