Always True to the Word is more than just a slogan, it is the very purpose of every printed page at Bogard Press. For over one hundred years, Bogard Press has served the churches of the American Baptist Association. The truths taught through the Sunday School curriculum has been written by men and women who are in agreement with the Doctrinal Statement of the American Baptist Association of churches. 

The literature written and produced by Bogard Press will be fundamental in nature. That is, the truths presented through the material date back through a strong heritage of faithful Bible teachers and continues back to the first century, to the church that Jesus established Himself and the holy men who were chosen by God and moved by the Holy Spirit to pen the words of the Bible. 

The literature written and produced by Bogard Press will be conservative. That is, you will find solid biblical doctrines such as repentance, saved for eternity and sanctification. The literature produced by Bogard Press presents the message of the Bible without seeking to add current trends to make the gospel seemingly more acceptable.

Fundamental and conservative also describe the nature of the churches who typically choose to use this literature. The church Jesus established is always local, and every church is autonomous and independent. The literature produced accepts that the Bible is the sole authority in all matters of faith and order. The ordinances of the New Testament church, baptism and the Lord’s Supper, are presented as memorial pictures and have no saving grace.
