ABOUT BIBLE CHALLENGE
Bible Challenge (for students in the 1st-12th grade) and Bible Challenge Jr. (for students ages 3 to 5), by Bogard Press are Bible-based programs that are designed to teach students the importance of studying and learning God's Word and hiding it in their hearts. The programs focus on teaching components such as books of the Bible, Bible verses, Bible passages, verse search, Bible questions, Bible truth, doctrinal truths, steps to salvation, Bible fill in the blanks and Bible words.
Whether they are memorizing a verse or answering a Bible question, this Bible study curriculum teaches students the importance of what they have learned and how to apply it to their lives.
At the end of each Bible Challenge year there will be a church, regional, state and national challenge. Students are encouraged to compete with other churches who have also learned God’s Word.
We believe through Bible Challenge that students will obtain a foundation to build upon as they continue to grow and study God’s Word as adults.
BIBLE CHALLENGE PARTICIPANTS
Bible Challenge is designed to have three to five study components depending on grade level:
BIBLE CHALLENGE STRUCTURE
Bible Challenge and Bible Challenge Jr. Bible study curriculum are designed to be taught with the school year. The study calendar for each year will start in September and continue through March. Students may start Bible Challenge at any time as long as they are prepared for the challenges beginning in April.
Classroom
September to March
Bible Challenge:
Teachers focus on teaching the 6 Easy Segments: read the lesson, review the challenge card, learn the Bible, practice the challenge, know the rules and play the games.
Bible Challenge Jr.:
Teachers will focus on teaching the 5 Easy Segments: read the lesson, review the challenge card, learn the Bible, complete the activity book and play the game.
Challenges
April to June
Bible Challenge:
April: Students participate in a church challenge.
May: Regional challenge takes place.
Late May or early June: State challenge takes place.
June: National challenge takes place.
Bible Challenge Jr.:
April: Students participate in an awards ceremony.
