This workbook is a companion to Basics of Biblical Hebrew Grammar: Third Edition, the most widely used textbook for learning biblical Hebrew. The new edition of the workbook includes updates corresponding to the revisions in the main grammar; significant changes to the interior presentation; streamlining of questions and exercises; and six reading texts interspersed among the exercises for the derived stems.

Each chapter in the Basics of Biblical Hebrew Workbook contains exercises and translation homework that correspond to the content of the chapter in the main grammar. Gary D. Pratico (ThD, Harvard Divinity School) is Professor of Old Testament Emeritus at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, where he taught Hebrew for thirty-four years.

Miles V. Van Pelt (PhD, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is the Alan Hayes Belcher, Jr. Professor of Old Testament and Biblical Languages at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi, where he also serves as Academic Dean and director of the Summer Institute for Biblical Languages.
