LESSON AIM:

1. The student will learn why Baptists have always considered the Bible so important.
2.  The student will understand that only Jesus can
   save him and keep him saved.
3. The student will learn that he must first be saved before he can be baptized.
4. The student will learn what a church is and why it is important.
5. The student will learn that Jesus promised to always be with the church He built for His glory.
6. The student will understand that he must tell others about Jesus and invite them to church.
7. The student will realize the value of churches working together to do God’s work.
8. The student will realize that he is important to God and to his church.
9. The student will learn that baptism and the Lord’s Supper are the two church ordinances Christ gave His church.
10. The student will realize the importance of letting others see Jesus in his daily life.
11. The student will learn the true meaning of the word Lord.
12. The student will realize it is a privilege to worship freely.
13. The student will learn about the offices of pastor and deacon.
