Business Manager - April 2022

As we prepare for the 96th ABA 2022 messenger meeting in Orlando, Florida, we are excited about getting a chance to share some great things with you.  First off, we invite you to attend the National Bible Challenge competition on Tuesday afternoon from 1-2 pm.  Last year due to COVID, the Baptist Sunday School Committee competed against the Standing Missionary Committee, but this year you will get to see the best students from churches all over the country compete together to show you how it is really done.  They have been hiding God’s Word in their hearts through Scripture memorization and will demonstrate the practical knowledge that they have learned.

We are excited to unveil the functionality of a new website, with new features that will make our partnerships that much more effective and enjoyable as we share in the work of the Great Commission.  We will share some exciting news about new delivery methods for our most sought-after products.  Of course, we will be manning a booth where you can stop by and discuss how we can help you meet the needs of your churches with curriculum you can trust, because we are committed to always being true to the Word.

We will be presenting a vision and a set of targets to help us set direction for the BSSC for the next five years.  The Lord commanded Habakkuk to… Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. Habakkuk 2:22  God would summarize that vision in a very simple, but powerful statement:  … the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2:4  God has blessed the faithfulness of the BSSC for decades, and we are excited to share a vision we believe necessary to run the race before us in a faithful manner to provide high-quality, doctrinally-sound literature to help churches fulfill the Great Commission.

Please make plans to stop by our booth and visit with us.  We count it a blessing to partner with you in sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.  We look forward to seeing you.

Respectfully Submitted,

Dean Grigsby
