CEO’s Report - April 2025

BSSC CEO’s April 1, 2025, PR Report:
How are things in Texarkana? This is a question often asked of me while out and about among the brethren. It is a question I expect and appreciate from the standpoint of the brethren caring about the work. So, let me give you a brief answer. First, the morale among those who labor here is very good. Coming to work here is like being around your church family whom you love, and you feel some of that in return. It seems everybody truly cares about the mission and shows it in their labor and attitudes. We are friends. We work together, moan together over challenges, and in times of need we pray together. Second, the finances are steady to good. Last year’s (2024) Profit and Loss statement was outstanding for which we give God praise. Third, processes are on schedule or ahead of schedule.
We have recently been printing VBS 2026, “Wonder,” which will no doubt be a blessing to the churches as it will be for sale October 1, 2025. So, I can say that things are good in Texarkana.
Bro Mark Clements, our Editor in Chief has announced that he will not seek to be nominated again at the June ABA meeting in Springfield, Missouri. I can say without any reservation that Bro. Mark has been a tremendous blessing to Bogard Press. During his time here, he has led the Editorial department to advance and make great progress. We are better because of his time among us. I always felt love and appreciation for the Clements family, but having served with Bro. Mark, I personally have grown to appreciate him and his family even more. I wish the very best for them as they move into the next chapter of their lives.
Certainly, as it is about the first of April at the time of my writing, the Committee and I will be discussing the need and praying for God to reveal His man to fill this position. I ask all the people of God to join us in praying about this need. We need God’s man. Pray also for our committee who will be meeting in Texarkana April 29, 30. I look forward to seeing and visiting with the brethren.
Come visit anytime with us in Texarkana. God bless, Bro. J. A. Crain
