God Fulfills His Promise

An author wrote, “Let God’s promises shine on your problems.”

Recently, I purchased a vehicle which required that I sign a contract stating that I would keep my obligations to insure the vehicle and make my payments on time. Everything in the contract was designed to protect the loan company and car dealer; presuming that I would not keep my word. Human nature causes us to enter into contracts under the assumption that the other party will not keep their word.

Generations before the Israelites entered the Promised Land, God promised Abram that He would make of him a great nation and give him a great land. “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee; and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed” (Genesis 12:2, 3). From the time He promised Abram until Israel possessed the Promise Land, God was faithful. As we follow the people of Israel through their journeys with God, we find them breaking covenant with God and disobeying Him many times. Yet, God remained faithful.

Throughout Scripture, there is not one promise of God that will not be fulfilled; if He spoke it, He will do it. God keeps His Promises.

JUST A THOUGHT: God will always keep His Word. You can build your life on His promises.
