How Shall They Hear?

“How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace,
and bring glad tidings of good things,” Romans 10:14, 15.

Atheist organizations spend extraordinary amounts of money proclaiming there is no reason to be found to believe in a God who cannot be seen. Billboards line our Interstate system which proclaim the foolishness of faith in God yet finding reason in believing that there is no God.
Isaiah 1:18 says, “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” It is much more reasonable to believe in the God of the Bible than not to.
Many people have convinced themselves that there is no God, thus there is no purpose to life other than living it for self. They have reasoned within themselves that they must live for their own purposes and pleasures, and then they will vanish into nothingness after death. How would they know any difference unless we tell them the truth?
Every day we live our lives among people who are far from God who need to know the truth. We must intentionally engage people in conversations about truth and help them to understand (reason) their need for a Savior. We ought to commit our lives to declaring the gospel to our coworkers, neighbors, family, friends, store clerks and everyone we encounter. Without Christ, they are doomed for eternal destruction! If we do not tell them, who will?

REFLECTION: You may not be called to be a missionary to a foreign country, but God has strategically placed you in your community to proclaim the gospel to everyone you meet.
