Don't Let Summer Get Away From You!

As we near the end of summer, we are thankful for the blessings God has given Board Press. Literature sales have held steady for the pst three quarter. Children's Sunday School sales have shown an increase over the past quarter, which is encouraging. Vacation Bible School sales have rebounded some in 2022, and we hope to approach pre-COVID levels in 2023. We have launched a new digital format for our Adult Study Guides through Kindle and have made significant progress in improving our digital platform, which will give us new opportunites to reach people with the truth of God's Word.

While many challenges remain, there is a great sense of hope as we prepare for a new school year. I suppose the challenges of the past few years and God's deliverance through them makes our hope even stronger, because our hope is not based on circumstances, nor what the world around us may or may not be doing. Our hope is based on God and His Word. "For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope." Romans 15:4 This hope is eternal and is based on truth. This hope is established on the gospel message of Jesus Christ, which gives us the chance to make a difference in eternity: "For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel; which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth." Colossians 1:5-6

What a blessing to know we have the truth of the Bible in a world full of lies! What a blessing to know God has called us to the high calling of sharing His Gospel with a world that has very little hope! What a blessing to know God has promised His Word, when shared with others, will accomplish what God has Planned!
