Bogard Press VBS Blog - Intro to VBS 2025
“For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope” (Romans 15:4).
It is our pleasure to introduce to you the Bogard Press Vacation Bible School for 2025: Timeless. The Word of God we hold in our hands may be centuries old, but the truths found within its pages are ageless. Modern Western society and many Christians suffer from biblical illiteracy like never before. We are no less desperate for God’s Truth than our forebears, and each new generation must be persuaded to consider God’s Word as the authoritative guide for faith and practice. Timeless VBS will help churches inspire students to consult God’s Word as they live out their faith.
During Timeless VBS, students will journey back in time to visit several biblical historical figures who may not be widely known, but who still played significant roles in God’s kingdom work and lived inspirational lives from which we may learn obedience to God. Caleb, Deborah, Joash, Priscilla and Aquila were normal people used by God “for our learning, that we…might have hope” (Romans 15:4). Students will learn about these men and women, then they will learn from the teachings of Jesus how anyone may bring Him glory through faith and obedience.
