The CEB Blog - Bible Challenge & VBS

“I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father,” 2 John 4.

Bible Challenge is designed to teach students the importance of learning and applying God’s Word and hiding it in their hearts. The programs focus on teaching the truths of God’s Word, including books of the Bible, Bible verses, Bible passages and doctrinal truths. Students are taught the application of these truths and are urged to commit them to memory. Included in the program is a competition component which provides an environment that tests the students’ knowledge and encourages them in their memorization of God’s Word. At the conclusion of the curriculum, churches are encouraged to compete with one another. This healthy competition allows students to test their knowledge against others in State, Regional and National Competitions. If you are interested in competing in Bible Challenge, please contact biblechallenge@bogardstore.org. The students who qualify for the National Competition will travel to Spokane, Washington to compete on the main stage of the ABA Messenger meeting on Wednesday, June 21st. Bogard Press has committed to helping these students with travel expenses, but if you would like to contribute to these costs, you may send offerings to 4605 N. State Line Ave., Texarkana, TX 75503. Please pray for the students as they prepare.

On Saturday, February 25th, we will host our annual VBS Seminar at Northern Hills Baptist Church in Texarkana, Arkansas. From 8:00 until 12:00, we will hear from experienced teachers on the best ways to prepare and present an effective Vacation Bible School with this year’s theme, Proclamation Safari Park. We will have sessions that cover each lesson individually and a session for directors. Additionally, we will listen to the music and learn tips and tricks for craft time. Please make plans to attend in person or remotely on our Bogard Press Facebook page.
